In July 2015 real estate consultancy company Pickard has advised Nokia on the revision of rental terms in Kyiv business centre Horizon Park. As a result of negotiations an improved rental rate was achieved. In addition, Pickard has also conducted successful negotiations for the lease of additional premises, and due to this the rental space increased to more than 1, 350 sq.m.
“Because of general stagnation on commercial real estate market this year there was an increasing number of transactions of renegotiations of rental terms with current landlords in order to decrease the rental space and/or rental rates. Under the conditions of weak predictability and reduction of business activity the companies take almost no action on opening new projects” – says Sergey Gerasimov, Director of Real Estate Department in Pickard.
Also in the third quarter of 2015 Pickard acted as a broker in lease transaction of additional office and warehouse for one of the divisions Moscow branch of Nokia and as lease renegotiation consultant in Minsk branch of the same company.
