31st of March – 1st of April, the Ukravtodor Working Group Representatives will visit the second World Congress of innovation clusters, which will be held in Poland. The main purpose of the visit is to find future partners and investors for the construction of the Kyiv Large Ring Road (KLRR).
A representative of the Working Group of Ukravtodor project Vladimir Rudoi as a speaker at the Congress will present an innovative project named "KLRR is a push for the creation of transport-logistics cluster of Kyiv
"Nowadays European investors are not interested to invest in the construction of only one road. Investment-attractive are those projects that combine a lot of opportunities. In our case, the project of the KLRR construction will join existing international and national transport corridors with rail, water and air transport and the creation of industrial parks near KLRR, construction of new industrial enterprises in the Kiev region will increase infrastructure attractiveness of the region "- said Vladimir Rudoj
According to Vladimir, in order to attract partners, investors and possibly concessionaires for KLRR construction Ukraine needs to keep pace with the times.
"The transport and logistics cluster is a new era of development for Ukraine. In the metropolitan area there is a unique opportunity: using land resources begin building efficient agro-industrial complexes, logistics centers, industrial parks, develop the construction industry and the foodstuffs production. Ring Road is an economic breakthrough for the Kiev region. The building of KLRR will provide employment for over 15 thousand people "- said the representative of the working group.
It should be reminded that the World Congress of innovation clusters (Cluster World Congress) was established in 2015 in Poland. The main purpose of the Congress is the popularization of the cluster idea as the best way of innovative development and competition among enterprises, regions and national economies; the establishment of international relations, the development of dialogue between public authorities and business; providing participants with a communication platform for the exchange of technical and practical knowledge about clusters; facilitate the implementation of their innovative ideas.
The event will bring together leading top managers, representatives of business and scientific community from different countries, representatives of public authorities, as well as the most well-known experts in the area of clustering. Totally the Congress will visit more than 200 clusters from all over the world, more than 100 participants from different countries, more than 160 experts from all over the world economy and the European Commission.
